Melissa is a native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She studied sociology and swam at Washington State University. Melissa has been teaching and traveling in Asia since 2006. Melissa was an All-American butterfly swimmer and won a gold medal in the Canada Games.

Ben Voborsky is a photographer who has specialized in travel and documentary photography. He has been on the road since 1996, visiting more than 80 countries. He has been supporting his travel addiction through photography and teaching. With his wife Sarah, he will be calling Khartoum, Sudan home for the next two years. Josh is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He studied journalism at Mississippi State University. Since graduating in 2005 he has lived and worked in Korea and traveled through Asia. Josh won several awards for journalism excellence in 2005, including SEJC College Journalist of the Year and Mississippi State University’s Leader of the Year award.
